Icon Business Solutions advisers improve the lives of business owners by providing step-by-step solutions where the business owner gets to design and implement specific business strategies to achieve financial and personal gain.

The business was established three years ago by Gary Maskell, the Managing Director, and has experienced rapid growth; the team now consists of 6 business advisers and two part-time administration staff.

The Challenge

The MD and the advisers were struggling to manage their diaries and emails when off-site. In addition, co-ordinating meetings when everyone was available was becoming a serious problem, limiting the businesses ability to function and provide the high level of service to its clients that the company aspires to.

The Solution

Symcar recommended their hosted Microsoft Exchange service, which enabled the business to function more efficiently by giving the team access to one another's diaries and enabling them to check their emails when on-site either through the web, their own laptops or PDAs, at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a server.

The Result

The team now functions more efficiently, advisers are in touch more frequently and customer service levels have been restored allowing the business to focus on continued growth. In the words of the Gary Maskell:
